Rummy is a family of games more than a single one. Gin, 500, Canasta, Kalooki, Conquian. Each has its own scoring quirks but they all share the same shape: hand totals, running scores, race to a target. scoremy.games is variant-agnostic. You score the hand however your table plays it; we just keep the running total and the round-by-round history.

How Rummy scoring works
- Score each hand by your variant's rules (deadwood, melds, bonus for going out).
- Type the net total for each player at hand-end. Positive for points earned, negative if your variant penalizes high cards.
- Race to a target (typically 100, 250, or 500 depending on variant).
- Use round mode to keep a per-hand log. Use simple mode if you only care about the running total.
