Terms of service

scoremy.games is a free game scorekeeper run by AKI Creative. Use it to keep score. Do not abuse it, do not break the law with it, and do not expect uptime guarantees. If something goes wrong, we will fix it when we can. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
Who we are
scoremy.games (the "Service") is operated by AKI Creative ("we", "us", "our"). The Service includes the website at scoremy.games, the ScoreMy Games iOS and watchOS apps, and any related tools we ship under the same name.
Using the Service
- You do not need an account. Anyone can create or join a game. If you do create an account, your email address is used only to send sign-in links. See the privacy policy for details.
- You own your game data. Names, scores, photos you upload, and notes you write are yours. We keep them so you can come back later, but you can ask us to delete any of it.
- You are responsible for what you submit. Do not enter player names, notes, or photos that are illegal, hateful, or violate someone else's rights. We can remove content that breaks these rules.
Things you cannot do
- Try to break, overload, or probe the Service. No scraping at scale, no automated abuse, no security testing without our written permission.
- Impersonate someone else or claim affiliation with us when there is none.
- Upload illegal content, content that infringes someone else's copyright, or content that targets a person or group with harassment.
- Use the Service to spam, advertise, or solicit.
- Reverse engineer the apps for the purpose of cloning or competing with the Service.
Paid features (Pro)
- Some features may be designated as "Pro" and require a paid subscription via Apple In-App Purchase. The current Pro feature set is documented on the app's paywall screen and may change.
- All subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Cancellation, refunds, and renewal terms follow Apple's standard policies. To manage or cancel, use Settings on your iPhone.
- We reserve the right to add or remove features from Pro. If we materially reduce what Pro includes, we will give existing subscribers reasonable notice.
- When Pro is disabled globally (the kill switch), all Pro features become free for everyone. We may turn Pro back on at any time without notice; existing subscribers keep their paid term.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of scores, that your data will never be lost, or that the Service will meet your specific needs. We do our best to keep things working, but you should not rely on the Service for anything that has real money or legal consequences attached to it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AKI Creative is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 50 if you paid us nothing.
Termination
You can stop using the Service any time. We can suspend or terminate access for any account that violates these terms, especially the "things you cannot do" list above. If you want your account deleted, see the privacy policy or email us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we change something that affects your rights in a meaningful way, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and, if you have an account, send you a note. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
