Hot Streak is a party betting game from Big Potato Games, built for a big room. Nine or more people crowd around a track while four mascots (Bear, Hotdog, Fish, and Queen) race to the finish line. Everyone bets on who wins, plus a yes or no side bet on some piece of chaos happening along the way.
The game is great. The money is the problem. Three rounds, a room full of people, pots that have to be split evenly among however many players backed the same mascot, and a round three where everyone doubles one bet. Counting that out by hand is where a loud party goes quiet.
scoremy.games runs the betting instead. Every player bets on their own phone, we work out the splits the moment the host enters the race result, and the night ends with a lowest-to-highest reveal. Free, no signup, and the physical game still does all the racing.
How Hot Streak scoring works
- A game is 3 rounds. Each round is one race between the four mascots: Bear, Hotdog, Fish, and Queen.
- Before the race, every player makes two bets: one mascot to win, and Yes or No on that round's side bet card (a wild card question like "will 2 mascots be stopped on the same space at the same time?").
- Run the race on the physical track, then the host enters the top three finishers and whether the side bet came true.
- The winning mascot pays the 1st place pot, second pays the 2nd pot, third pays the 3rd pot. Backing the mascot that comes last pays nothing.
- Each pot splits evenly among everyone who picked that mascot, rounded down. Eight players on a winning $18 pot means $2 each.
- If nobody picked a place, that pot is lost. There is no rollover to the next round.
- The side pot splits evenly among everyone who called the side bet correctly.
- In round 3, every player must double one of their two bets. Doubling multiplies your own share of that pot by 2, it does not change the pot, so it never takes money off anyone else.
- Most money after 3 rounds wins.

How to run Hot Streak on scoremy.games
One person hosts from their phone. Everyone else just needs a browser. Nothing to install and nobody makes an account.
- 1 Host Starts The Game Open scoremy.games/hotstreak and tap New game. Enter your name, pick the pot tier ($18, $60, $300, or $3,000 for the race, with a matching side pot), and choose whether picks stay hidden until everyone locks in.
- 2 Everyone Else Joins The lobby shows a QR code and a 6 character PIN. Hold the phone up to be scanned, or read the PIN out and have people enter it at scoremy.games/hotstreak. Each player types a name and takes a seat. Tap Lock joining once the table is set.
- 3 Place Your Bets Each player picks a mascot, answers Yes or No on the round's side bet card, and taps Lock in. The host can see who is still deciding.
- 4 Run The Race Race the mascots on the real track. The host taps Enter race results and records first, second, and third place plus the side bet outcome. If the side bet event happens before the race ends, the host can mark it mid-round.
- 5 Payouts Land Instantly Every phone shows what that player just won and their running total. Repeat for rounds two and three, remembering that round three asks everyone to double one bet.
- 6 The Reveal After round three, the host steps the standings from lowest to highest, winner last. Then tap "Same Crew, New Race" to go again with the same players.
Hot Streak is a physical game from Big Potato Games. The track, the mascots, the side bet cards, and the money all come in the box. We replace the counting, not the racing.
