Rally-point scoring. Every rally produces a point.

How does scoring work? +

Every rally produces a point. Tap won rally on whichever team won. They get +1 and become the new server. There's no "side out without a point" in this mode.

Who serves first?New +

Pick the team under Who serves first? when you create the game (First Serve in the app). That team is highlighted in green from 0-0.

If the other team ends up serving first anyway, tap ⇄ Switch Serve under the board. It stays there until the first point is scored. After that the serve follows the rallies.

I need to change who is serving +

Tap Adjust Options → Change serve. Tap the non-serving team to flip the server without changing the score. Recorded as a 0-point event so undo can reverse it.

Can I count serves in a row?New +

Yes. Turn on Serve Counter in Adjust Options (in the ScoreMy Games app, tap the gear). The serving team’s card then shows Serve and a big number, the serve in a row they’re on, on the scorer page, the viewer and TV view, and the app’s full-screen board.

It counts up each time the serving team wins a rally and starts over at 1 when the serve changes sides. If the count is off, use − and + under the board. ⇄ Switch Serve next to them gives the serve to the other team.

Undo puts the count back too, including changes made by hand. Serves are counted even while the counter is off, so turning it on mid-game shows the right number. Only the scorer can turn it on.

Can I show just the score, without the serve? +

Yes. In the ScoreMy Games app, tap the gear on the scoring screen and turn off Track Serve. The green serving highlight disappears from the app, the full-screen board, the TV view and the Apple Watch, and a white line keeps the two scores apart.

The serve is still followed in the background, so turning Track Serve back on shows the right server straight away. While it is off, Change serve and the serve counter are hidden.

You don’t need to be the scorer. It only changes what the scoreboards show, so any phone or iPad watching the game can switch it, no sign-in needed.

I scored on the wrong team +

Tap ↺ Undo last. It rewinds both the score and the server.

Adjusting the score directly +

Tap Adjust Options → Adjust score. Set the totals you want and Save.

Teams switched sides. Can I swap the names? +

Yes. Adjust Options → Swap team names. Scores stay attached to the original team, so the leader's number visually moves to the other side along with the name.

Sets and matches +

scoremy.games scores one game at a time. When you reach the set point, tap 🏁 Complete, then Continue to start the next set with the same teams and PIN. Each set increments the session number.

Can I see the earlier games in a match?New +

Yes. From the second game on, a History button sits beside Full Screen (beside the Game badge in the ScoreMy Games app). It shows every game under the PIN as a table, with the winning score in green.

Tap a game to see it point by point. Anyone with the PIN can open it, no sign-in needed.

The other team changes every gameNew +

Rename the team for the game you’re on. In the app, tap the gear and change the name under Team Names. On the website, use Adjust Options → Team names → Rename.

It changes this game only, so earlier games keep the team they were played against, and History shows each one.

Can friends follow our games?New +

Yes, as many as you like. On the website, open Connect people from Adjust Options or the finished game. In the app, tap Add People under the scoreboard. Then add a friend, or share the link or QR code with the group. Everyone who opens the link and signs in follows the match: every game under the PIN shows in their history, finished ones included.

They follow the games, not a team, and nothing counts toward their own stats. Only the scorer can add or remove people. Removing someone turns off the links you’ve shared, so share a fresh one afterwards.
