TV / iPad view
The big scoreboard for whatever screen everyone is watching.
How do I open the TV view? +
Inside any active game, tap Share → TV view. Opens in a new tab. The URL is /v/{PIN} — bookmark it on the iPad or paste it into the Apple TV browser.
Using the ScoreMy Games app on an iPad +
The app has its own big board. On any two-team game, tap Full Screen at the top of the scoring screen. The scores fill the screen and you can still tap a side to score the rally.
The serving team is shown in green on every screen: the app, the full-screen board, the TV view and the Apple Watch.
The iPad says the live scoreboard needs a connection +
Most iPads have no mobile data, so at a court or a club the iPad is often the one device without a signal. The live scoreboard needs a connection to stay in sync, so connect the iPad to Wi-Fi or tether it to your phone’s Personal Hotspot. The message goes away as soon as it is back online.
The games kept on the device, like the offline cribbage board, still work without a connection.
Does it update live? +
Yes — updates within a second of any device scoring. There's also a manual ↻ Reload button in the header in case the websocket drops, and a 10-second background poll as a safety net.
How do I make it fullscreen? +
Tap the ⛶ Fullscreen button in the header. On iPad, use Safari and add the page to the home screen for a chromeless launch.
Side by Side or Stacked: which layout should I use? +
Pick Side by Side if you are watching from the sideline. The scorekeeper's team sits on the side they set with Swap Side on the watch, so the board matches the court. It is the default everywhere, including on a phone held upright.
Pick Stacked if you are at one end of the court. The near end is the bottom half. To start with, that is the scorekeeper's team, so someone keeping score on their own phone always sees their side at the bottom.
Sitting at the other end? Tap Flip Ends once. The board then stays with your end of the court, so when the teams change ends and the scorekeeper taps Swap Side, it flips by itself.
The switch sits at the bottom of the TV view and the app's Full Screen board, and under the scores on the scoring screen. Each device keeps its own choice for that game, for pickleball, volleyball and badminton.
Stacked is for a screen held upright. Turn a phone or iPad sideways and the board is always side by side; turn it back and your choice returns.
Can I change the theme? +
Yes — the ☀ Theme button toggles between dark and light. Your preference is remembered per device.
What happens when the game completes? +
The two team panels are replaced by a centered winner banner with a trophy, the winner's name in large accent text, and the final score. Once the admin starts the next session, it flips back to the live scoreboard automatically.
Does the TV view need an account or PIN to access? +
No account. Anyone with the PIN can open the TV view — it's read-only, no scoring buttons. The scoring controls are only on /g/{PIN}.
