Ticket to Ride
Guest-first, self-scoring scorekeeper. Players scan a QR code, score their own routes and tickets, and the host reveals the results as a dramatic train race.
Unofficial fan-made tool. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Days of Wonder or Asmodee. Ticket to Ride is a trademark of its respective owner.
How is it different from the regular scorekeeper? +
It's built for self-scoring. The host creates a game and shows a QR code; everyone else scans it (or enters the PIN), types just their name, and scores their own game on their own phone. No account is required for anyone.
Signing in is optional — it only lets the host keep the game in their history.
How do I join a game? +
Scan the QR code on the host's screen, or go to the game and enter the 6-letter PIN. Then type your name and take a seat. That's it — your phone remembers your seat.
The host can also add a player who doesn't have a phone, and score for them.
How do I score my game? +
A guided three-step flow on your own phone:
- Trains — type how many routes of each length (1–6) you claimed. They're scored on the standard curve: 1, 2, 4, 7, 10, 15.
- Tickets — add each destination ticket one at a time (value + made/missed), or just enter your completed and failed totals.
- Review & submit — check your running total and send it in.
Which editions are supported? +
USA / Original and Europe. The edition you pick at setup changes which bonuses apply:
- USA — Longest Route (+10) and Globetrotter (+15, most completed tickets).
- Europe — Longest Route (+10) and Stations (each of 3 unused stations is +4).
Who assigns the bonuses? +
The host. Players score their own routes and tickets, but Longest Route, Globetrotter, and Stations are awarded by the host at the end. That keeps contested bonuses (only one player can hold Longest Route) from being double-counted.
Can other players see my score before the reveal? +
No. During scoring you see only your own total. Everyone else's stays hidden — you only see who has and hasn't submitted yet — so the reveal is a surprise.
What is the train-race reveal? +
When everyone's in, the host taps Finish & Reveal. Results are uncovered from last place to first, each player's train growing down the track to a length proportional to their final score. The host can step through it or reveal everyone at once, and replay it.
Can the host fix a score? +
Yes. The host can edit any player's row from the game page, and there's a "back to scoring" option from the reveal if something needs fixing before the final results.
