Sharing & PINs

Every game gets a unique 6-character PIN like BKPDQR. The PIN is how anyone joins or watches your game. Letters only — no digits, so it's quick to type on a watch or phone — and ambiguous letters (I, L, O) are skipped too.

Tap Share on the scoring page. You'll see the PIN, a link to the TV view, the scorer code, and email forms to send the PIN or transfer admin to someone.

They visit scoremy.games and enter the PIN, OR they visit /g/{PIN} directly. No account needed.

A separate code that lets someone else score the game from their own device. Give it out to your teammate who is sitting closer to the action. Without it, others can view live but can't change the score.

In the app, tap the circle next to a player's name (a dashed circle means they aren't linked yet). Pick one of your friends to link instantly, show a QR code for them to scan, or send them the claim link through any messaging app.

Once linked, the game shows up in their own game list, they get notified, and they can score their own points from their phone.

Volleyball, badminton, pickleball and team games connect people to the match, not to a team, so you can add as many as you like. On the website, open Connect people from Adjust Options or the finished game. In the app, tap Add People under the scoreboard. Then add a friend, or share the link or QR code.

Everyone added sees every game under the PIN in their history. Unlike a claim link, the share link works for anyone who opens it, for 30 days.

A single-use link (also shown as a QR code) that lets the person you played with claim their player spot. They sign in or create a free account, and the game lands in their history. Claiming also connects the two of you as friends, so next time they're one tap away. Claim links expire after 14 days.

Share → Transfer admin to someone. Enter their email; they get a single-use link. The moment they click it, they become admin and you lose admin. Useful when you're leaving and want someone else to manage the game.

Not for an hour. The ScoreMy Games app remembers the last PIN that found a game and fills it in on the Join screen and the Home join box for the next hour, so stepping out of a game and back in is one tap. A PIN that did not match a game is never remembered.

Once you've added everyone, lock joining from the setup page. New players can't be added until you unlock. There's a hard cap of 50 players per game regardless.

Only people with the admin cookie OR the scorer code can score. Random visitors with just the PIN can watch but not touch the score.

Anonymous games are archived 48 hours after the last play. Free-tier signed-in users keep complete games for 30 days, active games for 90 days. Pro keeps everything indefinitely.
